In 2024

In 2024, I kicked off my journey as a Startup Mentor at Techstars, supporting early-stage startups and empowering visionary founders.

Techstars is the worldwide network that helps entrepreneurs succeed. As one of the largest pre-seed investors in the world, they have funded over 3,200 companies that have gone on to have a market cap of $79B+. What makes it truly exciting is that I get to leverage my expertise to maximise impact, especially across the sports, health, fitness, and wellness industries, by advising Techstars' globally-run accelerator programs.

Techstars portfolio companies include more than 100 companies with valuations of over $100M, and 19 of them have already reached unicorn status including SendGrid, ClassPass, and Chainalysis. Teaming up with this stellar group of mentors, there's no doubt we're going to shake up the tech scene and lift up the next wave of successful businesses. 🏆 🏆

In 2024

In 2024, I joined Kerala Startup Mission as a Startup Mentor, guiding the professional and personal development of entrepreneurs and their companies in my home state, Kerala.

Through mentorship, I help early-stage startups refine their business strategies, navigate product development challenges, and scale sustainably. Leveraging my experience in product management and startup ecosystems, I provide insights on market validation, user research, and growth strategies. My role involves one-on-one mentorship, workshops, and advisory sessions, fostering innovation and empowering founders to build impactful businesses.

In 2023

In 2023, product organisations such as Colab Cohorts and Product Pints competitively selected me for their Product Mentorship program and I have mentored Product Managers in different areas of product management including user research, creating MVP, product launches, achieving P-M fit and product strategy. Post mentorship, mentee was placed at prestigious companies like BBC London, promoted to the position of Senior Technical Product Manager.

It is truly gratifying watching others thrive in their careers, especially remarkable women rocking it in the tech/product world. It's like seeing a little piece of myself in each success story, and it definitely does make my day. 🌟✨

Since then I have also been mentoring at organisations such as Intelligent People Limited, helping individuals in similar areas.

In 2022

In 2022, I started my journey as a Mentor and soon realised that I really enjoyed it. I really enjoy talking about all-things-product and startups. There's just something about it that gets me fired up. I love sharing my experience on research, product development, validating business ideas, building the Minimal Viable Product (MVP), achiveing Product-Market fit, continuously iterating and innovating, improving user expereince, building a diverse team and navigating the challenges faced in a start-up among others.

I also mentor aspiring students who wish to enter into the field of sports through higher education. You see, when I was deciding about pursuing my Master's in sports, I hit a few roadblocks —information was scarce, and connecting with folks who'd walked that same path? Not easy.

But that experience lit a fire in me and I made a commitment: I'm gonna make this journey smoother for others. So, now, I'm on a mission to break down barriers and open doors for aspiring sports students. From scholarships and application tips to what you can expect from a sports science degree, I'm here to spill all the beans. Because let's face it—more students diving into sports education means a brighter future for sports in India and beyond. 🌟🏆
