I was invited as the keynote speaker at the 6th Valediction Ceremony of
the Jitheshraj Scholarship for promising freshmen (JSPF), India. It was
such an honour talking to this group of super motivated students of this
scholarship program who were just starting out on their college journey.
The JSPF program runs yearly and is geared towards first-year bachelor's
students. They get all kinds of support -- mentoring, coaching, and even
a scholarship award if they complete it.
I shared some of my own experiences as a British Council scholar, about finding
one's strengths and passion, having the courage to take unconventional career
paths, and why it's crucial to be socially conscious in today's world.

I was invited as the chief guest at the Virago 4.0 pre-meet summit in
December 2023. Virago 4.0 is this exclusive platform by Mohandas College
of Engineering & Technology (MCET) and its all about empowering young
women in Kerala who are rocking it in STEM fields. Picture thisβa room
full of brilliant minds ready to showcase their innovation and
entrepreneurial skills.
During my talk, I emphasised the crucial role of women in the digital technology
sector and how active participation in events, networking, and mentorship
can advance their careers. As a Women in Product UK and British Council India
ambassador, I discussed our initiatives to support women in digital technology
and our efforts in narrowing the gender gap in STEM fields.
These events are about fueling Kerala's startup scene by showcasing the incredible
talent and innovation happening in this state. It's all part of our mission
to pave the way for the next generation of STEM superstars. ππ»

I was invited by the British Council India to participate in a focus
group panel on UK higher education, specifically on the Graduate
route. The Graduate route provides an opportunity for international
students who have been awarded their degree to stay in the UK and
work, or look for work, at any skill level for two years, or three
years for doctoral students.
We discussed how this route has impacted students' decisions to study
in the UK, their job prospects after graduation, the application
process, and the challenges we've come across that need to be
addressed.

I was invited as the main speaker to a webinar event titled
'International Scholarship Opportunities for Higher Education' organised
by the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) at
Mohandas College of Engineering & Technology (MCET), Kerala, India. I
highlighted different scholarships available for higher education
globally and encouraged students to advance their careers within the
technology sector.
I emphasised on the vast array of opportunities out there where you can apply
your coding skills beyond the conventional route. Watching those students
get fired up about their future was a total game-changer, and I couldn't
have asked for a better crowd to share the excitement with! ππ

I got the chance to speak at a webinar about 'How to Secure Scholarships
for a Sports Science Degree,' hosted by the awesome coach, Mr. Abhinav,
over at the Inspire Institute of Sport in Karnataka,India. This
institute is a hub of sporting excellence, accredited by the Sports
Authority of India and home to some serious champions like Neeraj Chopra
and Vinesh Phogat.
I shared insights on securing scholarships for sports science degrees across
diverse educational backgrounds and I dove into everything from making those
cross-disciplinary connections to thinking outside the box. The webinar was
buzzing with aspiring students hungry for more information about UK higher
education opportunities. It's moments like these that remind me why I'm so
passionate about what I do. ππ
