About

As a Product Manager, I tend to deeply empathise with users, deriving genuine joy in the creative process of coming up with innovative solutions. It's like a puzzle I can't resist - digging into their problems, needs, and dreams to help them achieve their goals. And being in this sweet spot where tech, design, and business intersect, is like having the ultimate toolkit to guide teams in building solutions that work. It's truly gratifying, to see users being delighted by the products that you have carefully curated for them.

Background

Let me take you on a bit of a journey through my career. It all kicked off at Infosys Ltd., where I dove headfirst into the world of software development as a Senior Systems Engineer. As much as I enjoyed the tech side of things, I felt this itch to make a real impact in an area that really spoke to my passions.

That's when I stumbled upon Hip Hop International India—a place where I could explore my fascination for performance. It is this powerhouse organisation training young Indian dancers to compete at the the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in USA every year. Plus, I saw this a pefect opportunity to place India on the world map. So, I rolled up my sleeves and worked towards this, playing a pivotal role in India winning the gold medal at the Dance World Cup, Canada and bronze medal at the World Hip Hop Dance Championship Las Vegas, USA. I dived into dance and gymnastics training myself and even had the incredible opportunity to represent India at the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in Vegas back in 2016. This trajectory of success inspired a mainstream Bollywood film 'Any Body Can Dance 2', which was viewed by millions worldwide and earned an estimated ₹167 crore (15 Million GBP) at the box office. Talk about an experience!

Through this experience, I developed a great interest in the scientific aspects of human performance and wanted to deepen my knowledge in this area. Recognizing my achievements and my vision to utilize my technical skills to make an impact in this area, the British Council awarded me their Scholarship to pursue a Master's in Sports and Exercise Science in the UK. With a deep dive into everything from human physiology, nutrition, biomechanics and psychology, I was like a sponge soaking up all the secrets to enhancing human performance.

In 2021, I had landed a pretty awesome gig in London as a Sports Product Manager at Pillar—a startup all about revolutionizing training in the cycling industry. It's like the perfect blend of my tech skills and my passion for fitness. Getting recognized by Tech Nation UK for my contributions to the sports-tech scene here - that's just the cherry on top. 🍒

My interests

Let me give you a glimpse into my world outside of work!

So, recently, I hopped on my bike and took part in the 2023 Tour of Cambridgeshire 100K cycling event. Talk about an adventure! 🚴‍♀️
But you know what else keeps me on my toes? Zouk dance! Yup, I've been hitting the dance floor in London for the past year, learning this brazilian dance style, and let me tell you, it's been an absolute blast. It's my go-to for letting loose and getting those creative juices flowing.💃
I'm a certified Yoga instructor too, all the way from Mysore, India. Whether it's teaching classes back home or spreading the Yoga love to folks around the globe, it's a passion of mine that keeps me grounded and lets me see the world upside down once in a while (literally). 🧘‍♀️✨
